Assistive technology devices include any equipment or product used by a person with a disability to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities. Equipment or products may be acquired commercially from a store, from a specialty dealer, or may be custom made. We directly assist an individual in the selecting, acquiring, repairing or using an assistive technology device (such as training in the use of the device.)
Check out Michigan's based new website where people can buy, sell or give away assistive technology. www.ATXchange.org is a FREE service!
